INFORMATION CLAUSE
OF PERSONAL DATA DURING
THE "Management 2024" SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE
Personal data of the participants of the conference are protected in accordance with Articles 13(1) and 13(2) of the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR). We hereby inform you that:
1. The Data Controller of personal data for the Scientific Conference participants is the University of Siedlce, represented by the Rector, located at Konarskiego 2, Siedlce (08-110); email: rektor@uph.edu.pl.
2. The correctness of personal data processing is supervised by the Data Protection Officer, who can be contacted by mail (DPO, ul. Konarskiego 2, 08-110, Siedlce) or via email at iod@uph.edu.pl.
3. Your personal data are processed for the purposes of registering participation in the conference, communicating with participants for organizational matters, compiling participant lists, preparing certificates, publishing informational materials about the conference, promoting the event or our activities through the publication of photos and recordings from events – based on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), documenting the proceedings, and, subject to your consent, for sending informational and marketing materials about future scientific events organized by the University of Siedlce.
4. The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Article 6(1)(a), (e), and (f) of the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), hereinafter referred to as "GDPR", in connection with the Law of 9 December 2019 on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws 2020, item 85) and the mission of the university conducted under this law, which includes conducting scientific activities, fostering civic attitudes, as well as participating in social development and creating an innovation-based economy.
5. Your personal data will be stored for the duration of the conference realization and settlement, and, in the case of consent to informational and marketing activities, until the withdrawal of such consent, as well as in situations provided by law where processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims;
6. Providing data is voluntary, but necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected.
7. The personal data provided by you will not be disclosed to other entities, except for entities authorized by law.
8. You have the right to access the content of your data, rectification, restriction of processing, object to processing, and to delete the data.
9. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of the GDPR.
10. Decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling, will not be made based on your personal data.
